CVSS v3.1 |
| EDK2 contains a vulnerability in BIOS where a user may cause “Out-of-bounds
Write”, Classic
Buffer Overflow, and “Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size” by remote access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability
can lead to arbitrary
code execution. It could also impact
Confidentiality,
Integrity,
and Availability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing
predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing
any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing.
The existing check still permits that write when top already points to
the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack.
Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry. |
| A heap buffer overflow in handling GLX
RenderLarge request where dataBytes exceeds cmdlen in X.org X server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 that could be be triggered by an authenticated X client could cause crashes or code execution in X server context. |
| Invalid pointer in the JavaScript: GC component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159 and Thunderbird 159. |
| Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, an unbounded `sscanf` in `res_pjsip_pubsub` when parsing the `MWI NOTIFY` `Message-Account` field may allow an unauthenticated attacker to send a carefully crafted packet that causes a stack buffer overflow and corrupts the underlying transport, permanently disabling all SIP functionality. An Asterisk restart is required to restore full operation. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3. |
| A flaw was found in WebKitGTK. Processing malicious web content can cause memory corruption due to improper memory handling. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in Fireware OS's SIP proxy allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code by sending a specially crafted request through a policy that uses the SIP proxy. |
| FFmpeg before commit 1cdeb3c contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the VC-2/Dirac RTP packetizer (libavformat/rtpenc_vc2hq.c) that allows attackers to trigger memory corruption by supplying a crafted Dirac data unit. The packetizer copies an input-derived data unit or fragment size into a fixed-size buffer without an upper bound check, causing a heap buffer overflow when the crafted input is packetized for RTP output. |
| FFmpeg before commit 1c10bcc contains a heap buffer overflow in the RIST protocol reader (libavformat/librist.c). librist_read() ignored its size argument and copied the full received payload length into the caller-provided destination buffer, overflowing it when the payload exceeds the destination size. This is reachable via the async:rist:// URL scheme, where the async wrapper supplies a smaller buffer than the received payload. A remote RIST sender can trigger the overflow by sending a packet whose payload exceeds the caller buffer size. |
| FFmpeg before commit 9d786e4 contains a stack buffer overflow in the MPEG-PS muxer (libavformat/mpegenc.c). When muxing input with more streams than the muxer's fixed-size stack buffer accommodates, the buffer is overflowed. A crafted input with an excessive number of streams triggers the overflow during MPEG-PS muxing. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: fix sched scan IE sizing
Scheduled scan built the probe request before iwl_mvm_scan_fits(),
so oversized IEs could be copied into the fixed preq buffer before
length validation. Move iwl_mvm_build_scan_probe() after the fits
check.
Also advertise max_sched_scan_ie_len using iwl_mvm_max_scan_ie_len()
so userspace limits account for driver-inserted DS/TPC bytes. |
| A stack buffer overflow was addressed through improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted audit file may corrupt process memory. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. An app may be able to cause unexpected system termination or write kernel memory. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.7.8, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Sonoma 14.8.8, macOS Tahoe 26.6. A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected system termination or corrupt kernel memory. |
| SODOLA SL902-SWTGW124AS firmware before 200.2.12 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause a denial of service by sending an oversized boundary value in the Content-Type header of a crafted POST request. Attackers can exploit the embedded HTTP server's multipart/form-data boundary parser to cause the device to become fully unresponsive — dropping all management access and traffic forwarding during its self-recovery cycle. |
| AimOne Video Converter 2.04 Build 103 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in its registration form that causes application crashes. Attackers can generate a 7000-byte payload to trigger the denial of service and potentially exploit the software's registration mechanism. |
| NetworkSleuth 3.0.0.0 contains a denial of service vulnerability that allows attackers to crash the application by supplying an oversized registration key. Attackers can generate a 1000-character buffer payload and paste it into the registration key field to trigger an application crash. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to unexpected app termination. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2, visionOS 27. Processing a maliciously crafted image may lead to heap corruption. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. A remote attacker may be able to cause unexpected app termination. |
