| HIGH-LEIT V05.08.01.03 and HIGH-LEIT V04.25.00.00 to 4.25.01.01 for Windows from Vivavis contain an insecure file and folder permissions vulnerability in prunsrv.exe. A regular user (non-admin) can exploit the weak folder and file permissions to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. | ||||
| CVE-2025-13703 | 1 Vipre | 1 Advanced Security | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| VIPRE Advanced Security Incorrect Permission Assignment Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of VIPRE Advanced Security for PC. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the product installer. The issue results from incorrect permissions on a folder. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of SYSTEM. Was ZDI-CAN-27147. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14740 | 1 Docker | 1 Docker Desktop | 2026-04-15 | 6.7 Medium |
| Docker Desktop for Windows contains multiple incorrect permission assignment vulnerabilities in the installer's handling of the C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop directory. The installer creates this directory without proper ownership verification, creating two exploitation scenarios: Scenario 1 (Persistent Attack): If a low-privileged attacker pre-creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop before Docker Desktop installation, the attacker retains ownership of the directory even after the installer applies restrictive ACLs. At any time after installation completes, the attacker can modify the directory ACL (as the owner) and tamper with critical configuration files such as install-settings.json to specify a malicious credentialHelper, causing arbitrary code execution when any user runs Docker Desktop. Scenario 2 (TOCTOU Attack): During installation, there is a time-of-check-time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition between when the installer creates C:\ProgramData\DockerDesktop and when it sets secure ACLs. A low-privileged attacker actively monitoring for the installation can inject malicious files (such as install-settings.json) with attacker-controlled ACLs during this window, achieving the same code execution outcome. | ||||
| CVE-2023-38037 | 1 Redhat | 3 Logging, Satellite, Satellite Capsule | 2026-04-15 | 3.3 Low |
| ActiveSupport::EncryptedFile writes contents that will be encrypted to a temporary file. The temporary file's permissions are defaulted to the user's current `umask` settings, meaning that it's possible for other users on the same system to read the contents of the temporary file. Attackers that have access to the file system could possibly read the contents of this temporary file while a user is editing it. All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the workarounds immediately. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14988 | 1 Iba Systems | 1 Ibapda | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| A security issue has been identified in ibaPDA that could allow unauthorized actions on the file system under certain conditions. This may impact the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of the system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-0758 | 1 Hitachi | 1 Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server | 2026-04-15 | 6.1 Medium |
| Overview The product specifies permissions for a security-critical resource in a way that allows that resource to be read or modified by unintended actors. (CWE-732) Description Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server prior to versions 10.2.0.2, including 9.3.x and 8.3.x, is installed with Karaf JMX beans enabled and accessible by default. Impact When the vulnerability is leveraged, a user with local execution privileges can access functionality exposed by Karaf beans contained in the product. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5995 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | ||
| Canon EOS Webcam Utility Pro for MAC OS version 2.3d (2.3.29) and earlier contains an improper directory permissions vulnerability. Exploitation of this vulnerability requires administrator access by a malicious user. An attacker could modify the directory, potentially resulting in code execution and ultimately leading to privilege escalation. | ||||
| CVE-2025-24009 | 2026-04-15 | 5.9 Medium | ||
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIRIUS 3RK3 Modular Safety System (MSS) (All versions), SIRIUS Safety Relays 3SK2 (All versions). The affected devices do not require authentication to access critical resources. An attacker with network access could retrieve sensitive information from certain data records, including obfuscated safety passwords. | ||||
| CVE-2025-23245 | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium | ||
| NVIDIA vGPU software for Windows and Linux contains a vulnerability in the Virtual GPU Manager (vGPU plugin), where it allows a guest to access global resources. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2025-25041 | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium | ||
| A vulnerability in the HPE Aruba Networking Virtual Intranet Access (VIA) client could allow malicious users to overwrite arbitrary files as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM (root). A successful exploit could allow the creation of a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition affecting the Microsoft Windows Operating System. This vulnerability does not affect Linux and Android based clients. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59373 | 1 Asus | 1 Myasus | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the restore mechanism of ASUS System Control Interface. It can be triggered when an unprivileged actor copies files without proper validation into protected system paths, potentially leading to arbitrary files being executed as SYSTEM. For more information, please refer to section Security Update for MyASUS in the ASUS Security Advisory. | ||||
