CVSS v3.1 |
| Artalk before 2.10.1 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to make the server fetch arbitrary URLs by submitting anonymous comments to /api/v2/comments. Attackers can set a page_key to an internal URL, which GetTitleByURL fetches after only scheme validation, then read the page title through the public comment list. |
| Apache Kafka Connect contains an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting the admin REST API when admin.listeners is configured with a separate listener from the main listeners property.
When operators isolate the admin REST API by explicitly configuring the "admin.listeners" property, REST extensions specified via rest.extension.classes (such as BasicAuthSecurityRestExtension) are not registered or applied to the admin resource configuration.
While the primary REST API listener (configured via listeners) enforces configured authentication and authorization filters, endpoints mounted under the separate admin listener (/admin/loggers) fail to inherit or instantiate these extension filters. As a result, the admin logger endpoint accepts unauthenticated read and write requests even when security extensions are active on the main listener.
Impact:
An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the admin listener can:
1. Read the complete set of logger names and levels, disclosing loaded class names and which security extensions are in use.
2. Write logger levels, including with scope=cluster which propagates the change to all workers in the Connect cluster. This can be used to suppress
logging (setting root to OFF) or generate excessive log output (setting root to TRACE), potentially impacting availability and observability.
Mitigation:
Users who cannot upgrade immediately can remove the admin.listeners configuration (or leave it unset). When unset, admin resources share the regular listener and inherit its security extensions.
Resolution:
From Apache Kafka 4.2.2, 4.3.2, and 4.4.0, we make sure the REST extensions specified via "rest.extension.classes" will also apply to "admin.listeners". |
| noname Electron desktop build v1.11.2 through v1.11.6.1 contains an unauthenticated local file server with wildcard CORS that allows malicious websites to read, overwrite, or delete installation files. Attackers can send cross-origin requests to /writeFile on localhost port 8089 to overwrite renderer scripts, executing JavaScript with Node.js access as the local user. |
| LibreTV before v2.21.2 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated users to bypass checkUpstreamAllowed() by exploiting unpinned DNS resolution in fetchWithSafeRedirects(). Attackers controlling authoritative DNS can return public addresses during validation and internal addresses at connection time via /api/source/test, /api/proxy, /api/search or /api/detail to reach loopback services, private hosts or cloud metadata endpoints. |
| EdgeChat before 2.20.3 contains a missing authentication vulnerability in the GET /files/:key route that allows unauthenticated or banned users to download decrypted public-channel attachments because canAccessFile() accepts a null user id. Attackers holding an attachment object key can omit or supply an invalid token to retrieve plaintext attachments without a session or channel membership. |
| accel-ppp before 1.15.0 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the tcp, syslog and pgsql log targets that allows unauthenticated remote peers to overflow fixed heap buffers by producing log lines exceeding LOG_MAX_SIZE. Attackers within client-ip-range can send an L2TP Start-Control-Connection-Request with many string AVPs when verbose logging is enabled to corrupt heap memory and crash the daemon. |
| Posta before v0.18.0 contains a server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows authenticated users with edit rights to make the backend send POST requests to internal destinations by creating webhooks with arbitrary URLs. Attackers can target loopback, private-network or cloud metadata addresses and read delivery status codes and error strings to probe internal hosts and ports. |
| NEURON (CoreNEURON) through 9.0.2 contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to corrupt stack memory by supplying over-long tokens in a crafted model dataset. Attackers can place oversized version or mechanism-name tokens in bbcore_mech.dat, globals.dat, or files.dat loaded by nrniv-core to crash the process. |
| libnxml before 0.18.6 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in src/nxml_parser.c that allows remote attackers to write past a 1024-byte stack buffer via long XML names. Attackers can supply XML or RSS feeds with a 1022-character element, attribute, DOCTYPE or entity name ending in a multi-byte UTF-8 character to crash parsing applications. |
| Buku (bukuserver) through 5.1.1 contains an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability that allows remote attackers to make the server request internal hosts by supplying a url parameter to /api/fetch_data or /api/network_handle. Attackers can target loopback, private, or cloud metadata IP addresses, which pass the weak is_bad_url() check and follow redirects, to discover internal services and read their page titles, descriptions, and keywords. |
| VRPN through 07.36 contains an out-of-bounds stack write vulnerability in vrpn_Endpoint::handle_sender_message() and handle_type_message() that allows unauthenticated remote peers to write outside a stack buffer via an unchecked length index. Attackers can connect, complete the version-cookie exchange, and send a SENDER_DESCRIPTION or TYPE_DESCRIPTION message with an out-of-range or negative index to crash the process. |
| eBook-speaker 6.1.0 through 6.2.0 contains a stack buffer overflow vulnerability in get_attributes() in src/common.c caused by an unbounded strcpy of an element's name attribute. Attackers can craft an EPUB or DAISY book with a name attribute of 511 or more characters to corrupt the stack and crash the reader when opened. |
| LMFDB before commit 01829bd contains a server-side template injection vulnerability in the render_knowl function that allows unauthenticated attackers to inject Jinja expressions via request parameters. Attackers can supply crafted query-string values or 'content' data to /knowledge/render/<ID> to reach Python builtins and execute operating system commands as the web application account. |
| WPPConnect Server through 2.10.76 contains a missing authentication vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read decrypted sticker media through the /files static mount. Attackers can enumerate Unix timestamps in GET /files/file<timestamp>.webp requests to retrieve stickers from any session, bypassing per-session token checks. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Order Management product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Product Diagnostic Tools). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Order Management. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Order Management accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 6.5 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Payroll product of Oracle E-Business Suite (component: Internal Operations). Supported versions that are affected are 12.2.3-12.2.15.
