| CVE-2021-4239 | 1 Noiseprotocol | 1 Noise | 2025-04-14 | 7.5 High |
| The Noise protocol implementation suffers from weakened cryptographic security after encrypting 2^64 messages, and a potential denial of service attack. After 2^64 (~18.4 quintillion) messages are encrypted with the Encrypt function, the nonce counter will wrap around, causing multiple messages to be encrypted with the same key and nonce. In a separate issue, the Decrypt function increments the nonce state even when it fails to decrypt a message. If an attacker can provide an invalid input to the Decrypt function, this will cause the nonce state to desynchronize between the peers, resulting in a failure to encrypt all subsequent messages. | ||||
| CVE-2014-0936 | 1 Ibm | 1 Security Appscan Source | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| IBM Security AppScan Source 8.0 through 9.0, when the publish-assessment permission is not properly restricted for the configured database server, transmits cleartext assessment data, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7040 | 2 Apple, Python | 2 Mac Os X, Python | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| Python 2.7 before 3.4 only uses the last eight bits of the prefix to randomize hash values, which causes it to compute hash values without restricting the ability to trigger hash collisions predictably and makes it easier for context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption) via crafted input to an application that maintains a hash table. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2012-1150. | ||||
| CVE-2000-1254 | 1 Openssl | 1 Openssl | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| crypto/rsa/rsa_gen.c in OpenSSL before 0.9.6 mishandles C bitwise-shift operations that exceed the size of an expression, which makes it easier for remote attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms by leveraging improper RSA key generation on 64-bit HP-UX platforms. | ||||
| CVE-2010-4832 | 1 Google | 1 Android | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| Android OS before 2.2 does not display the correct SSL certificate in certain cases, which might allow remote attackers to spoof trusted web sites via a web page containing references to external sources in which (1) the certificate of the last loaded resource is checked, instead of for the main page, or (2) later certificates are not checked when the HTTPS connection is reused. | ||||
| CVE-2011-3152 | 1 Canonical | 2 Ubuntu Linux, Update-manager | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| DistUpgrade/DistUpgradeFetcherCore.py in Update Manager before 1:0.87.31.1, 1:0.134.x before 1:0.134.11.1, 1:0.142.x before 1:0.142.23.1, 1:0.150.x before 1:0.150.5.1, and 1:0.152.x before 1:0.152.25.5 on Ubuntu 8.04 through 11.10 does not verify the GPG signature before extracting an upgrade tarball, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to (1) create or overwrite arbitrary files via a directory traversal attack using a crafted tar file, or (2) bypass authentication via a crafted meta-release file. | ||||
| CVE-2013-6805 | 1 Opentext | 1 Exceed Ondemand | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| OpenText Exceed OnDemand (EoD) 8 uses weak encryption for passwords, which makes it easier for (1) remote attackers to discover credentials by sniffing the network or (2) local users to discover credentials by reading a .eod8 file. | ||||
| CVE-2013-6807 | 1 Opentext | 1 Exceed Ondemand | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| The client in OpenText Exceed OnDemand (EoD) 8 supports anonymous ciphers by default, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to bypass server certificate validation, redirect a connection, and obtain sensitive information via crafted responses. | ||||
| CVE-2013-6994 | 1 Opentext | 1 Exceed Ondemand | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| OpenText Exceed OnDemand (EoD) 8 transmits the session ID in cleartext, which allows remote attackers to perform session fixation attacks by sniffing the network. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7033 | 1 Livezilla | 1 Livezilla | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| LiveZilla before 5.1.2.1 includes the operator password in plaintext in Javascript code that is generated by lz/mobile/chat.php, which might allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information and gain privileges by accessing the loginName and loginPassword variables using an independent cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7041 | 1 Cristian Gafton | 1 Pam Userdb | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| The pam_userdb module for Pam uses a case-insensitive method to compare hashed passwords, which makes it easier for attackers to guess the password via a brute force attack. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7144 | 3 Apple, Linecorp, Microsoft | 3 Mac Os X, Line, Windows | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| LINE 3.2.1.83 and earlier on Windows and 3.2.1 and earlier on OS X does not verify X.509 certificates from SSL servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7252 | 1 Kde | 1 Kde Applications | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| kwalletd in KWallet before KDE Applications 14.12.0 uses Blowfish with ECB mode instead of CBC mode when encrypting the password store, which makes it easier for attackers to guess passwords via a codebook attack. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7372 | 2 Apache, Google | 2 Harmony, Android | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| The engineNextBytes function in classlib/modules/security/src/main/java/common/org/apache/harmony/security/provider/crypto/SHA1PRNG_SecureRandomImpl.java in the SecureRandom implementation in Apache Harmony through 6.0M3, as used in the Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA) in Android before 4.4 and other products, when no seed is provided by the user, uses an incorrect offset value, which makes it easier for attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms by leveraging the resulting PRNG predictability, as exploited in the wild against Bitcoin wallet applications in August 2013. | ||||
| CVE-2013-7385 | 1 Livezilla | 1 Livezilla | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
| LiveZilla 5.1.2.1 and earlier includes the MD5 hash of the operator password in plaintext in Javascript code that is generated by lz/mobile/chat.php, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information and gain privileges by accessing the loginName and loginPassword variables using an independent cross-site scripting (XSS) attack.
