CVE-2026-119204 2026-10-29 N/A
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.4, pypdf can consume excessive memory while parsing a crafted PDF page tree containing many shared resources. Page-tree flattening copies page dictionary and inherited resource entries without a document-wide entry budget, allowing the crafted resource structure to cause disproportionate allocations. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.4.
CVE-2026-110073 1 Adobe 2 Adobe Experience Manager, Experience Manager 2026-10-29 5.4 Medium
Adobe Experience Manager is affected by a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability that could be abused by a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. Malicious JavaScript may be executed in a victim's browser when they browse to the page containing the vulnerable field. Scope is changed.
CVE-2026-98913 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 2.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: thunderx: fix PTP device ref leak in nicvf_probe() cavium_ptp_get() acquires a reference to the PTP PCI device through pci_get_device(). If any initialization step fails after cavium_ptp_get(), the PTP PCI device reference is leaked. Add a common error path to release the PTP reference before returning from probe failures.
CVE-2026-98914 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: cap ATOM command table nesting depth Cap nesting at 32 levels with execute_depth and return -ELOOP when exceeded.
CVE-2026-98918 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/damon/ops-common: use a page-aligned address in damon_ptep_mkold() __damon_va_prepare_access_check() picks a random byte address within the region and stores it in r->sampling_addr. damon_va_mkold() passes it into a page table walk, which hands it to damon_ptep_mkold() as the address of the page to sample: damon_va_mkold(mm, r->sampling_addr) damon_va_walk_page_range(mm, addr, addr + 1) damon_mkold_pmd_entry() damon_ptep_mkold(pte, vma, addr) ptep_test_and_clear_young(vma, addr, pte) mmu_notifier_clear_young(mm, addr, addr + PAGE_SIZE) For arm64, before commit 6f0e1142173a ("arm64: mm: support batch clearing of the young flag for large folios"), the contpte helper walked exactly CONT_PTES entries from the aligned-down page table pointer and used @addr only to pass down to each entry, so an unaligned value was harmless: ptep = contpte_align_down(ptep); addr = ALIGN_DOWN(addr, CONT_PTE_SIZE); for (i = 0; i < CONT_PTES; i++, ptep++, addr += PAGE_SIZE) Now the range to walk is derived from @addr instead: end = addr + nr * PAGE_SIZE, rounded up to CONT_PTE_SIZE. For a sample in the last page of a contpte block, the sub-page offset puts end just past the block boundary, so the round-up lands a whole block further and the walk clears PTE_AF in CONT_PTES entries beyond the sampled block. For the last block in a page table page, those entries are past the end of that page, so the walk writes into the page that follows. Triggered by the full 7.1/7.2 kernel selftest suite on arm64 (EC2 c/m6g.4xlarge). The kernel sometimes crashes at or shortly after the DAMON test. What the overrun does depends on the page that happens to follow the page table, so there is no single signature. If that page is read-only, the write faults in the sampling path itself: Unable to handle kernel write to read-only memory at virtual address ffff0003c5d2d000 FSC = 0x0f: level 3 permission fault CM = 0, WnR = 1, TnD = 0, TagAccess = 0 CPU: 10 UID: 0 PID: 3487 Comm: kdamond.2 pc : contpte_test_and_clear_young_ptes+0x70/0xc0 lr : damon_ptep_mkold+0x1e8/0x1f8 Call trace: contpte_test_and_clear_young_ptes+0x70/0xc0 (P) damon_mkold_pmd_entry+0x150/0x170 walk_pmd_range+0x110/0x2b0 walk_pud_range+0x10c/0x208 walk_pgd_range+0x134/0x258 __walk_page_range+0x98/0x1b0 walk_page_range_vma_unsafe+0x90/0x148 walk_page_range_vma+0x28/0x40 damon_va_walk_page_range+0x114/0x2b8 damon_va_prepare_access_checks+0xec/0x1a8 kdamond_fn+0x534/0x770 kthread+0x128/0x138 ret_from_fork+0x10/0x20 Otherwise the page is writable, the PTE_AF clearing succeeds silently and the damage only surfaces later, in whatever happened to own the page, so the backtrace is unrelated to DAMON and differs between runs. Pass a page-aligned address to the ptep_test_and_clear_young() call in damon_ptep_mkold(), which is the only place DAMON can reach contpte_test_and_clear_young_ptes() from. Nothing else sees the aligned address, and r->sampling_addr itself is left as is, so the sampling and region bookkeeping semantics are unchanged.
CVE-2026-98928 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 6.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: Derive GUEST_HAS_SVE from the SVE feature bit at EL2 pkvm_init_features_from_host() takes KVM_ARCH_FLAG_GUEST_HAS_SVE and KVM_ARM_VCPU_SVE from the host separately, but pkvm_vcpu_init_sve() tests the bit while vcpu_has_sve() reads the flag. A host that sets the flag without the bit gets a vCPU with a NULL sve_state that the world switch loads the guest's SVE state from. Derive the flag from the bit, and drop the protected path's copy of the host's flag, which is dead code since protected VMs are not allowed SVE.
CVE-2026-98969 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 3.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: em_text: reject unterminated algo before autoload This is a follow-up to commit 9c572a83037a ("net/sched: fix potential stack infoleak in em_text_dump()"), which zero-initialised the dump-side struct. Sashiko pointed at a pre-existing bug that exposed the change-side input-validation gap open. em_text_change() casts the raw netlink attribute payload to struct tcf_em_text and passes conf->algo, a 16-byte array with no enforced NUL terminator, to textsearch_prepare(). On the TS_AUTOLOAD retry textsearch_prepare() calls request_module("ts_%s", algo); vsnprintf() walks %s until it finds a NUL, so an algo[] with no NUL reads past the array into the adjacent struct fields and payload and feeds those bytes to the usermode helper command line. This is an out-of-bounds read and a kernel memory disclosure. Reject the attribute when no NUL exists within TC_EM_TEXT_ALGOSIZ bytes, matching the check xt_string has had since 3ab720881b6e. Conditions to recreate the bug: - CAP_NET_ADMIN on the target netns (namespace-local via unshare -Urn is enough) - install clsact on an interface, then add a basic filter with one text ematch whose algo[] is 16 bytes with no NUL (e.g. "A"*16) and pattern_len at least 1 - the add fails with -ENOENT and the kernel invokes modprobe with a module name made of "ts_" plus the 16 bytes and the adjacent payload
CVE-2026-98982 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: don't let a pseudo dentry become the root of a mount d_alloc_pseudo() hands out dentries for pipes, sockets and other files that are never anyone's child or parent. They carry DCACHE_NORCU and dentry_free() frees them right away because no lockless path walk can ever reach them. That holds as long as such a dentry isn't the root of a mount. But bind mounting /proc/self/fd/<fd> of such a file does exactly that. Most callers of alloc_file_pseudo() put their files on kernel-internal mounts and may_copy_tree() refuses those. bpf_token_create() doesn't. It places the token file on the bpffs mount the caller handed it and that mount is in the caller's mount namespace so the clone goes through: mount --bind /proc/self/fd/<token> <file> open_tree(tokfd, "", AT_EMPTY_PATH | OPEN_TREE_CLONE) + move_mount() __follow_mount_rcu() then loads ->mnt_root of that mount, reads d_seq and d_flags of the dentry and only then checks mount_lock. The dentry can be gone by then. The final mntput() of an unmounted parent unhooks a child that stayed attached to it under mount_lock alone. When the child's holder does the final put right after that the root is dput() and freed immediately while a walker that found the mount hashed still looks at it. Refuse to clone a mount with a DCACHE_NORCU dentry as its root. Nothing sensible can be done with a bind mount of a bpf token anyway.
CVE-2026-98987 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 2.3 Low
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: namespace: look at the topmost mount for a mount namespace file attach_recursive_mnt() preallocates a mountpoint for the root of the topmost mount of the source so that a mount that already sits at the destination can be put on top of the source or on top of one of its propagated copies. The copies are made without CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE so their chain of overmounts is shorter than the source's. It ends below the first bind mount of a mount namespace file. So while the loop walks up the chain of the source it remembers the mountpoint of that mount in "shorter" and the existing mount is put there for the copies. But the loop ends at the topmost mount without ever looking at it. If the topmost mount is the only mount namespace file in the chain "shorter" stays NULL and mnt_change_mountpoint() attaches the existing mount of the copy below the root of the mount namespace file. That's a dentry of nsfs. No path walk in the copy's mount namespace ever gets there. The mount is gone until its parent goes and the copy that took its place can't be unmounted synchronously because it has a child: S bind mount of a file N bind mount of a mount namespace file on top of S A shared mount, B a slave of A, Q mounted on B/file move_mount(S, A/file) cat B/file -> the content of S instead of Q umount B/file -> EBUSY Look at every mount of the chain including the topmost one.
CVE-2026-99007 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-29 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/fb-helper: defer setup when fbdev_probe() fails, not just on -EAGAIN __drm_fb_helper_initial_config_and_unlock() calls drm_client_modeset_probe() first, which already fills in each mode_set->mode/num_connectors for every connected output, and only afterwards calls drm_fb_helper_single_fb_probe() to create fb_helper->fb and wire it into those mode_sets via drm_setup_crtcs_fb(). If drm_fb_helper_single_fb_probe() fails with anything other than -EAGAIN (e.g. dev->driver->fbdev_probe() itself fails), the function bails out before drm_setup_crtcs_fb() runs and before setting fb_helper->deferred_setup. The client is left with mode_sets that have a mode and connectors but mode_set->fb == NULL, and nothing marks this fb_helper as needing a retry. __drm_fb_helper_restore_fbdev_mode_unlocked() only skips committing when fb_helper->deferred_setup is set, so a later .restore() call (drm_lastclose() on process exit, in this report) commits the stale mode_set through drm_client_modeset_commit() -> drm_client_modeset_commit_atomic() -> __drm_atomic_helper_set_config(), which hits WARN_ON(!set->fb). Mark fb_helper->deferred_setup on any drm_fb_helper_single_fb_probe() failure, not just -EAGAIN, so restore keeps skipping the commit until a later hotplug event successfully re-probes and re-populates mode_set->fb. The real error code is still returned to the caller unchanged.
CVE-2026-112658 1 Apple 2 Ios And Ipados, Macos 2026-10-29 5.5 Medium
This issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
CVE-2026-107347 1 Hashicorp 2 Nomad, Nomad Enterprise 2026-10-29 8.4 High
HashiCorp Nomad and Nomad Enterprise are vulnerable to symlink following during dispatch payload and executor log writes that may allow a malicious workload to modify files outside its allocation directory. When the client agent runs as root, this could lead to code execution as root on the client host. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-107347) is fixed in Nomad 2.1.0 and Nomad Enterprise 2.1.0, 1.11.12, and 1.10.18.
CVE-2026-42057 1 Vtk 1 Vtk 2026-10-29 7.5 High
An invalid pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the vtkPNGReader::vtkPNGReaderUpdate2 functionality of vtk 9.6. A specially crafted .png file can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability.
CVE-2026-118776 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 3.7 Low
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used decipher.finish(), CBC and ECB modes, PKCS#7 padding to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge validated only the final byte of PKCS#7 padding during CBC and ECB decryption and accepted zero, oversized, or mismatched padding bytes. Malformed ciphertext could consequently be accepted and up to four plaintext blocks could be silently removed, causing an integrity failure in applications that treated successful decryption as proof of valid padding. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-118777 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 4.8 Medium
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the forge.http client stored cookie names and paths from Set-Cookie response headers in ordinary JavaScript objects. A malicious server could use the cookie name __proto__ so that the attacker-controlled cookie path was written as a property on Object.prototype, or use inherited names such as constructor to modify Object. An empty cookie value could use the removal path to delete an inherited Object.prototype property. Applications using forge.http directly or through forge.xhr are affected; applications that do not use forge.http are unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-118778 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 5.9 Medium
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-118780 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 3.7 Low
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used pki.verifyCertificateChain(), pki.createCaStore(), duplicate subject names to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge modified the CA store while trying certificates that shared a subject name during pki.verifyCertificateChain(). A failed chain verification could permanently remove trusted CA certificates from the store, causing later valid chains to fail and creating a persistent availability impact for applications that reused the store. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-118781 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 2.9 Low
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used BigInteger.prototype.modInverse(), bnModInverse(), lib/jsbn.js, RSA public exponent e to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's bundled jsbn implementation entered an infinite loop when BigInteger.prototype.modInverse() received a negative value or modulus. An attacker who could control the RSA public exponent passed to key generation, or a direct modInverse() operand, could block the Node.js event loop at full CPU. Parsed DER, PEM, JWK, PKCS#12, X.509, and TLS values are unsigned and cannot trigger this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-118782 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 7.5 High
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, node-forge accepted a PKCS#12 MAC or PKCS#12 password-based encryption iteration count of zero or less. pki.pbe.generatePkcs12Key() then returned a constant key independent of the password and salt, allowing crafted PKCS#12 input processed by forge.pkcs12.pkcs12FromAsn1() to bypass password-based integrity checks. Predictable encryption keys and IVs also affected PKCS#12 PBE using pbeWithSHAAnd3-KeyTripleDES-CBC or pbewithSHAAnd40BitRC2-CBC, including shrouded key bags, encrypted SafeContents, and PKCS#8 ENCRYPTED PRIVATE KEY input processed independently by forge.pki.decryptPrivateKeyInfo(). PBES2/PBKDF2-encrypted content is unaffected. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
CVE-2026-119187 1 Digitalbazaar 1 Forge 2026-10-29 7.5 High
Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), TLS record processing, process() to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge processed received TLS records recursively, consuming one JavaScript stack frame per record in a single input chunk. A remote peer could send thousands of small records together and exhaust the call stack, causing an uncaught exception and denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1.
