CVSS v3.1 |
In BuildKit versions v0.26.0 through v0.34.1, a specific build definition that resolves metadata for the same Git source reference twice can cause the BuildKit daemon to panic and crash, interrupting builds handled by that daemon. The issue is fixed in v0.34.2.
A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27. An app may be able to access sensitive user data.
An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in visionOS 27.2. Processing a maliciously crafted 3D model may lead to memory corruption.

A remote code execution vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server in the Git service (babeld). babeld held references into internal collections while calling into the SSH library, where a re-entrant callback could modify a collection and invalidate those references. An attacker with an account and SSH access to the instance could leverage this use-after-free into a controlled write and run arbitrary commands as babeld, including disclosure of its environment secrets. Exploitation required per-build memory offsets; failed attempts crashed babeld. This affected all releases prior to 3.23 and was fixed in 3.22.3, 3.21.8, 3.20.10, and 3.19.14. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
An integer overflow was addressed with improved input validation. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27.2, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to unexpected app termination.
A race condition was addressed with improved state handling. This issue is fixed in Safari 27.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, macOS Golden Gate 27.2, tvOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2. Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to an unexpected Safari crash.
Incorrect authorization in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Incorrect authorization in Core in Google Chrome prior to 157.0.8103.38 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
In addition to the c_rehash shell command injection identified in CVE-2022-1292, further circumstances where the c_rehash script does not properly sanitise shell metacharacters to prevent command injection were found by code review. When the CVE-2022-1292 was fixed it was not discovered that there are other places in the script where the file names of certificates being hashed were possibly passed to a command executed through the shell. This script is distributed by some operating systems in a manner where it is automatically executed. On such operating systems, an attacker could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the script. Use of the c_rehash script is considered obsolete and should be replaced by the OpenSSL rehash command line tool. Fixed in OpenSSL 3.0.4 (Affected 3.0.0,3.0.1,3.0.2,3.0.3). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1p (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1o). Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2zf (Affected 1.0.2-1.0.2ze).
