CVE-2026-99124 1 Linux 2 Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-10-28 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/pci: Fix leak of uninitialized kernel data in SCLP report While report_error_write() checks that the provided buffer is at least as large as the header struct, but not that it is large enough to contain the report with the length claimed by report->length. If user-space provides a short buffer, meaning a larger report->length than the actually written payload, up to around 4K of kernel data from past the kmalloc(len + 1) sized buffer allocated in kernfs_fop_write_iter() will leak into the SCLP report. However, as the entity processing the SCLP is privileged and able to access at least the page including the report, this does not leak data that entity could not access but it is still an out of bounds read and a malformed error report that should be rejected.
CVE-2026-57192 1 Asterisk 2 Asterisk, Certified Asterisk 2026-10-27 N/A
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, an authenticated attacker may cause a heap buffer overflow through an out-of-bounds write in the `Codec2` decoder caused by a `floor/ceil sample-count mismatch`. The `codec_codec2` module must be loaded and `Codec2` must be configured on the attacked endpoint. The attacker must pass SIP authentication by username/password or `source IP address matching`, establish a call using `Codec2`, and send carefully crafted `Codec2` audio packets. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.
CVE-2026-112709 1 Watchguard 1 Fireware Os 2026-10-27 N/A
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Fireware OS authentication service allows an attacker who controls or intercepts traffic to the configured Active Directory server to create a denial of service condition and potentially execute arbitrary code by returning a specially crafted response.
CVE-2026-112710 1 Watchguard 1 Fireware Os 2026-10-27 N/A
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Fireware OS authentication service allows an attacker who controls or intercepts traffic to the configured Active Directory server to create a denial of service condition and potentially execute arbitrary code by returning a specially crafted response.
CVE-2026-107590 1 Qt 3 Qt, Qt5compat, Qtbase 2026-10-27 N/A
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Qt QTextCodec iconv-based encoding of the Qt 5 Compatibility APIs module (Qt Core in Qt 5 and earlier) impacts Qt. Under certain conditions, encoding text with QTextCodec may write outside an internal buffer. This can cause the application to crash and may affect data integrity.
CVE-2026-86563 3 Dpdk, Red Hat, Redhat 8 Dpdk, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2026-10-26 7.8 High
A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost. A double-offset bug in vhost log mapping calculation can lead to incorrect memory access.
CVE-2026-116737 2026-10-26 6.1 Medium
libphdi through 20260902 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in libphdi_data_files_get_extent_data_file_path that uses the directory prefix length instead of the basename length. Attackers can supply a crafted Parallels disk image descriptor with a long directory prefix and short basename to crash the process or expose adjacent heap memory.
CVE-2026-78002 2 Redhat, Rsyslog 7 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2026-10-26 7.5 High
A flaw was found in rsyslog. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a heap buffer overflow in the RainerScript `replace()` function by sending specially crafted syslog messages. This vulnerability arises from an incorrect buffer size calculation during string replacement, causing memory corruption. Successful exploitation can lead to a denial of service (DoS) for the affected system.
CVE-2026-82944 2026-10-26 8.8 High
SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains a vulnerability in multi-segment data transfers where a malicious device can overflow memory buffers. The software checks the total size only once at the beginning, but doesn't track the cumulative size as multiple segments arrive. An attacker can declare a small initial size to pass validation, then send additional segments that exceed the allocated buffer. This allows the attacker to write controlled data beyond buffer boundaries, potentially enabling code execution.
CVE-2026-92156 1 Nasa 1 Fprime 2026-10-22 6.5 Medium
F´ (F Prime) is a framework that enables development and deployment of spaceflight and other embedded software applications. Prior to 4.3.0, Svc::EventManager loqQueue_internalInterfaceHandler packetization is vulnerable because EventManager accepts up to the framework LogBuffer maximum, but packet descriptor, event identifier, and time-tag metadata consume part of the larger ComBuffer and leave a smaller remaining budget for log arguments; serialization failure then reaches an assertion. When a deployment bridges events through GenericHub into EventManager and forwards a legal Fw::LogBuffer larger than EventManager remaining log-argument budget, under standard F Prime assertion handling, a legal bridged event payload aborts or resets the process, causing denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 4.3.0.
CVE-2026-97631 1 Tianocore 1 Edk2 2026-10-22 8.8 High
EDK2 contains a vulnerability in BIOS where a user may cause “Out-of-bounds Write”, Classic Buffer Overflow, and “Incorrect Calculation of Buffer Size” by remote access. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to arbitrary code execution. It could also impact Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.
CVE-2026-106574 1 Imagemagick 1 Imagemagick 2026-10-21 5.3 Medium
ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. Prior to 7.1.2-31, a client connected to the distributed pixel cache server can send crafted pixel data that triggers an integer-size calculation error and a heap buffer overwrite, crashing the server. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.2-31.
CVE-2026-12301 1 Mozilla 2 Firefox, Thunderbird 2026-10-21 5.3 Medium
Memory safety bug fixed in Thunderbird 152. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 152 and Thunderbird 152.
CVE-2026-53091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 8.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pull headers in qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() Most ndo_start_xmit() methods expects headers of gso packets to be already in skb->head. net/core/tso.c users are particularly at risk, because tso_build_hdr() does a memcpy(hdr, skb->data, hdr_len); qdisc_pkt_len_segs_init() already does a dissection of gso packets. Use pskb_may_pull() instead of skb_header_pointer() to make sure drivers do not have to reimplement this. Some malicious packets could be fed, detect them so that we can drop them sooner with a new SKB_DROP_REASON_SKB_BAD_GSO drop_reason.
CVE-2026-89718 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 4.1 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: zram: fix out-of-bounds access in writeback_store() Patch series "zram: fix stale scan bounds after reinitialization". Both writeback_store() and read_block_state() derive their table scan bounds from zram->disksize before acquiring dev_lock. If the device is reset and reinitialized with a smaller disksize between that read and lock acquisition, the bound can describe the old table while the scan operates on the new one. This can lead to out-of-bounds slot accesses. Move both bound calculations under dev_lock so each bound remains consistent with the table throughout its scan. Keep the fixes separate because the affected interfaces originate from different commits and can be backported independently. This patch (of 2): writeback_store() calculates the table scan bounds before taking dev_lock. A reset followed by reconfiguration with a smaller disksize can therefore replace zram->table while writeback_store() is waiting for the lock. Once it acquires the lock, it sees an initialized device but scans the new table using the old upper bound, resulting in an out-of-bounds access. Calculate the number of pages while holding dev_lock so the scan bound matches the table protected by the lock.
CVE-2026-43107 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: account XFRMA_IF_ID in aevent size calculation xfrm_get_ae() allocates the reply skb with xfrm_aevent_msgsize(), then build_aevent() appends attributes including XFRMA_IF_ID when x->if_id is set. xfrm_aevent_msgsize() does not include space for XFRMA_IF_ID. For states with if_id, build_aevent() can fail with -EMSGSIZE and hit BUG_ON(err < 0) in xfrm_get_ae(), turning a malformed netlink interaction into a kernel panic. Account XFRMA_IF_ID in the size calculation unconditionally and replace the BUG_ON with normal error unwinding.
CVE-2026-31630 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: proc: size address buffers for %pISpc output The AF_RXRPC procfs helpers format local and remote socket addresses into fixed 50-byte stack buffers with "%pISpc". That is too small for the longest current-tree IPv6-with-port form the formatter can produce. In lib/vsprintf.c, the compressed IPv6 path uses a dotted-quad tail not only for v4mapped addresses, but also for ISATAP addresses via ipv6_addr_is_isatap(). As a result, a case such as [ffff:ffff:ffff:ffff:0:5efe:255.255.255.255]:65535 is possible with the current formatter. That is 50 visible characters, so 51 bytes including the trailing NUL, which does not fit in the existing char[50] buffers used by net/rxrpc/proc.c. Size the buffers from the formatter's maximum textual form and switch the call sites to scnprintf(). Changes since v1: - correct the changelog to cite the actual maximum current-tree case explicitly - frame the proof around the ISATAP formatting path instead of the earlier mapped-v4 example
CVE-2026-31531 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: nexthop: allocate skb dynamically in rtm_get_nexthop() When querying a nexthop object via RTM_GETNEXTHOP, the kernel currently allocates a fixed-size skb using NLMSG_GOODSIZE. While sufficient for single nexthops and small Equal-Cost Multi-Path groups, this fixed allocation fails for large nexthop groups like 512 nexthops. This results in the following warning splat: WARNING: net/ipv4/nexthop.c:3395 at rtm_get_nexthop+0x176/0x1c0, CPU#20: rep/4608 [...] RIP: 0010:rtm_get_nexthop (net/ipv4/nexthop.c:3395) [...] Call Trace: <TASK> rtnetlink_rcv_msg (net/core/rtnetlink.c:6989) netlink_rcv_skb (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:2550) netlink_unicast (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1319 net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1344) netlink_sendmsg (net/netlink/af_netlink.c:1894) ____sys_sendmsg (net/socket.c:721 net/socket.c:736 net/socket.c:2585) ___sys_sendmsg (net/socket.c:2641) __sys_sendmsg (net/socket.c:2671) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:130) </TASK> Fix this by allocating the size dynamically using nh_nlmsg_size() and using nlmsg_new(), this is consistent with nexthop_notify() behavior. In addition, adjust nh_nlmsg_size_grp() so it calculates the size needed based on flags passed. While at it, also add the size of NHA_FDB for nexthop group size calculation as it was missing too. This cannot be reproduced via iproute2 as the group size is currently limited and the command fails as follows: addattr_l ERROR: message exceeded bound of 1048
CVE-2026-23377 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: change XDP RxQ frag_size from DMA write length to xdp.frame_sz The only user of frag_size field in XDP RxQ info is bpf_xdp_frags_increase_tail(). It clearly expects whole buff size instead of DMA write size. Different assumptions in ice driver configuration lead to negative tailroom. This allows to trigger kernel panic, when using XDP_ADJUST_TAIL_GROW_MULTI_BUFF xskxceiver test and changing packet size to 6912 and the requested offset to a huge value, e.g. XSK_UMEM__MAX_FRAME_SIZE * 100. Due to other quirks of the ZC configuration in ice, panic is not observed in ZC mode, but tailroom growing still fails when it should not. Use fill queue buffer truesize instead of DMA write size in XDP RxQ info. Fix ZC mode too by using the new helper.
CVE-2020-37287 1 Vyperlang 1 Vyper 2026-10-21 5.9 Medium
Vyper before 0.2.6 contains a call stack corruption vulnerability that causes incorrect function outputs when complex types with non-base members are passed as arguments. Contracts passing multi-dimensional arrays or structs to internal or external functions receive corrupted values because the compiler assumed each subtype size is 32.
