| CVE-2026-79992 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in Emacs TRAMP. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by processing maliciously crafted filenames. This occurs because TRAMP concatenates login arguments without proper sanitization, which are then passed to a local shell. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102559 | 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat | 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in libsoup. When constructing a masked WebSocket client frame for a very large outgoing payload, size values passed to GByteArray allocation APIs could be truncated while the masking routine still used the full length, causing a heap buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102557 | 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat | 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in libsoup. When reassembling fragmented WebSocket messages into a GByteArray, libsoup did not adequately cap total message size against the limits of the underlying buffer type. A remote peer could send fragments that caused size truncation while the implementation still used the full length, leading to heap corruption or a crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102556 | 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat | 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in libsoup. When handling an incoming WebSocket Pong frame, SoupWebsocketConnection emitted the ::pong signal with a GByteArray pointer even though the signal is declared to pass a GBytes. Applications connecting a handler that follows the documented GBytes API can trigger heap corruption or a crash upon receiving a crafted Pong. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102558 | 3 Gnome, Libsoup, Redhat | 3 Libsoup, Libsoup, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in libsoup. When max-incoming-payload-size is unlimited (0), SoupWebsocketConnection could grow its incoming GByteArray based on an attacker-controlled frame length until the length wrapped, causing a heap buffer overflow while reading frame data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91205 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-files. A local unprivileged attacker can exploit a race condition during directory creation with owner assignment. By controlling a writable parent directory, the attacker can replace a newly created directory with a symbolic link (symlink) before the ownership change operation (chown) is applied. This allows the attacker to redirect the ownership change to an arbitrary file, potentially leading to information disclosure or unauthorized modification of sensitive files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91202 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-19 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-files. A low-privileged local user can exploit this vulnerability by crafting a directory containing a symbolic link (symlink) and then using the privileged "Paste as owner" function. This allows for arbitrary file ownership changes outside the intended pasted directory, leading to a compromise of data integrity. In some cases, this could also lead to reduced confidentiality if the new ownership grants unauthorized read access. Exploitation requires user interaction to select a non-original owner during the paste operation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85013 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-10-19 | 7.3 High |
| A flaw was found in environment-modules. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by placing a maliciously named modulefile in a location visible to the victim's `MODULEPATH`. When the victim uses Bash completion for `module` or `ml` commands, the malicious module name, containing shell metacharacters, is evaluated as a command. This can lead to arbitrary command execution in the completing user's shell, impacting their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86846 | 2 Dpdk, Redhat | 4 Dpdk, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-18 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in DPDK lib/vhost vhost-crypto. A guest can supply an avail-ring descriptor index that is used without bounds checking, causing an out-of-bounds write in the host vhost-crypto backend. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96658 | 2 Redhat, Theforeman | 5 Enterprise Linux, Satellite, Satellite Capsule and 2 more | 2026-10-18 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in Foreman. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker with low-level read permissions to achieve arbitrary code execution on the underlying server. By manipulating the permitted methods list within the template rendering engine, an attacker can bypass the safemode sandbox isolation and execute unauthorized commands directly on the host system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104040 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-16 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the Entra ID identity provider, input lookup names containing single quotes are not properly escaped before being included in Microsoft Graph Open Data Protocol (OData) queries. A low-privileged local user can exploit this flaw by submitting a crafted search request, altering query filters to broaden user or group searches. This can lead to information disclosure by retrieving unintended directory objects, as well as a Denial of Service (DoS) through excessive processing and cache population. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85231 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libtirpc. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized wrapped data requests to an RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service configured with RPCSEC_GSS (Remote Procedure Call Security-Generic Security Service) integrity or privacy. This can lead to unbounded memory allocation, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting system resources and causing the service to become unstable or terminate. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111581 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in libblockdev. The bd_fs_ntfs_set_label() and bd_fs_vfat_set_label() functions pass caller-supplied label values as bare positional arguments to the ntfslabel and fatlabel utilities without end-of-options separators or input validation for values beginning with a dash. This allows a label starting with '-' to be interpreted as a command-line flag by the spawned tool, potentially bypassing safety checks or causing unintended operations. This is reachable by unprivileged local users through the udisks2 Filesystem.SetLabel() D-Bus method without administrator authentication. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84823 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jboss Fuse and 2 more | 2026-10-16 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in WildFly. A user with the `Monitor` role, which is the lowest standard Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) role, can exploit a path traversal vulnerability in the `take-snapshot` operation. By manipulating the `name` parameter, this user can write a copy of the server configuration to an arbitrary location. This allows the `Monitor` role to read back the server configuration, including sensitive credentials, which would otherwise be restricted by RBAC, leading to information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91142 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Dev Spaces, Openshift Devspaces | 2026-10-16 | 3.6 Low |
| A flaw was found in Cockpit. An authenticated local user with a large user identifier (UID) can cause unauthorized modification and disclosure of login records. On 32-bit systems, an integer overflow during session accounting allows the user's login process to read or overwrite the legacy log entries of other accounts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53366 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus | 2026-10-16 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: account for fraggap on the paged allocation path In __ip_append_data(), when the paged-allocation branch is taken, alloclen and pagedlen are computed as alloclen = fragheaderlen + transhdrlen; pagedlen = datalen - transhdrlen; datalen already includes fraggap, but the fraggap bytes carried over from the previous skb are copied into the new skb's linear area at offset transhdrlen by the subsequent skb_copy_and_csum_bits(). The linear area is therefore undersized by fraggap bytes while pagedlen is overstated by the same amount. The non-paged branch sets alloclen to fraglen, which already accounts for fraggap because datalen does. Bring the paged branch in line by adding fraggap to alloclen and subtracting it from pagedlen. After this adjustment, copy no longer collapses to -fraggap on the paged path, so remove the stale comment describing that old arithmetic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53006 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: fix possible UAF in icmpv6_rcv() Caching saddr and daddr before pskb_pull() is problematic since skb->head can change. Remove these temporary variables: - We only access &ipv6_hdr(skb)->saddr and &ipv6_hdr(skb)->daddr when net_dbg_ratelimited() is called in the slow path. - Avoid potential future misuse after pskb_pull() call. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53002 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-16 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: conntrack: remove sprintf usage Replace it with scnprintf, the buffer sizes are expected to be large enough to hold the result, no need for snprintf+overflow check. Increase buffer size in mangle_content_len() while at it. | CVE-2017-5436 | 4 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat and 1 more | 10 Debian Linux, Firefox, Thunderbird and 7 more | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| An out-of-bounds write in the Graphite 2 library triggered with a maliciously crafted Graphite font. This results in a potentially exploitable crash. This issue was fixed in the Graphite 2 library as well as Mozilla products. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 52.1, Firefox ESR < 45.9, Firefox ESR < 52.1, and Firefox < 53. | ||||
| CVE-2024-0607 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2026-10-16 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue is in the nft_byteorder_eval() function, where the code iterates through a loop and writes to the `dst` array. On each iteration, 8 bytes are written, but `dst` is an array of u32, so each element only has space for 4 bytes. That means every iteration overwrites part of the previous element corrupting this array of u32. This flaw allows a local user to cause a denial of service or potentially break NetFilter functionality. | ||||
