| CVE-2026-63943 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: xpad - fix out-of-bounds access for Share button xpadone_process_packet() receives len directly from urb->actual_length and uses it to index the share-button byte at data[len - 18] or data[len - 26]. Since both len and data[0] are under the device's control, a broken controller can send a GIP_CMD_INPUT packet with actual_length < 18 (e.g. 5 bytes) and reach this code path, causing accesses beyond the actual array. Fix this by calculating the offset and checking bounds against the packet length. | ||||
| CVE-2026-63949 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: auxdisplay: line-display: fix OOB read on zero-length message_store() linedisp_display() unconditionally reads msg[count - 1] before checking whether count is zero, so a write of zero bytes to the message sysfs attribute hits msg[-1]: write(fd, "", 0); -> message_store(..., buf, count=0) -> linedisp_display(linedisp, buf, count=0) -> msg[count - 1] == '\n' ; OOB read The kernfs write buffer for that store is a 1-byte allocation (kernfs_fop_write_iter() does kmalloc(len + 1) with len == 0), so msg[-1] is a 1-byte read before the slab object. On a KASAN-enabled kernel this trips an out-of-bounds report and panics; on stock kernels it silently reads adjacent slab data and, if that byte happens to be '\n', the following count-- wraps ssize_t 0 to -1 and is then passed to kmemdup_nul(). linedisp_display() is reached from the message_store() sysfs callback (drivers/auxdisplay/line-display.c message attribute, mode 0644) and from the in-tree initial-message setup with count == -1, so the OOB path is only userspace-triggerable via zero-byte writes; vfs_write() does not short-circuit on count == 0 and kernfs_fop_write_iter() dispatches the store callback regardless. Guard the trailing-newline trim with a count check. The existing if (!count) block then takes the clear-display path unchanged. Affects every auxdisplay driver that registers via linedisp_register() / linedisp_attach(): ht16k33, max6959, img-ascii-lcd, seg-led-gpio. | ||||

| CVE-2026-31568 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 7.1 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/mm: Add missing secure storage access fixups for donated memory There are special cases where secure storage access exceptions happen in a kernel context for pages that don't have the PG_arch_1 bit set. That bit is set for non-exported guest secure storage (memory) but is absent on storage donated to the Ultravisor since the kernel isn't allowed to export donated pages. Prior to this patch we would try to export the page by calling arch_make_folio_accessible() which would instantly return since the arch bit is absent signifying that the page was already exported and no further action is necessary. This leads to secure storage access exception loops which can never be resolved. With this patch we unconditionally try to export and if that fails we fixup. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112202 | 2026-10-30 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| Imager::File::GIF versions before 1.006 for Perl allow out-of-bounds reads when consolidating GIF images. With `gif_consolidate => 1`, palette indices from the image are used without checking the colour table's bounds. The i_readgif_low routine reads beyond the heap allocation and copies the bytes into output pixels. The default GIF reader is not affected. The same code ships bundled in the Imager distribution. An attacker supplying a crafted GIF can disclose adjacent heap memory through the decoded output and may crash the process. | ||||

| CVE-2026-119423 | 1 Opnsense | 2 Core, Opnsense | 2026-10-30 | 5.3 Medium |
| OPNsense core before 26.7.8 contains a log injection vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to plant victim IP addresses in the lockout_handler by submitting crafted WebGUI login usernames. Attackers can submit usernames like 'Invalid user <victim-ip>' repeatedly to add the victim to the sshlockout table, blocking SSH and WebGUI access and killing its pf states. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99211 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 3.3 Low |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netlink: reset skb headers before unicast and multicast filtering Socket filters can use SKF_NET_OFF and SKF_LL_OFF to read relative to an skb's network and MAC headers. Netlink producers may reserve headroom without resetting those headers, allowing a receiving socket's filter to read data before the initialized message. For example, IWPM HELLO replies are allocated with dev_alloc_skb(), which reserves NET_SKB_PAD bytes. An unprivileged NETLINK_RDMA user can attach a classic socket filter and disclose this headroom through the length of the delivered reply. The resets in netlink_dump() do not help because IWPM sends a separately allocated skb through netlink_unicast(). Reset both headers before running the receiver's filter in unicast and broadcast delivery, as is already done for dump skbs. This also covers other netlink producers that reserve headroom without changing their allocation or message-building code. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: iscsi: Fix race in discovery auth updates Separate configfs opens can concurrently update the discovery AuthMethod parameter. Both callers may free the same value in iscsi_update_param_value(), causing a double-free. Protect the lookup and replacement with the discovery TPG access lock, as used by the other TPG configfs parameter updates. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99191 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: calipso: keep BIG TCP payload_len in calipso_skbuff_setattr() calipso_skbuff_setattr() adjusts payload_len by the length of the option it inserts or resizes: payload = ntohs(ip6_hdr->payload_len); ip6_hdr->payload_len = htons(payload + len_delta); GRO can build BIG TCP packets larger than IPV6_MAXPLEN, and stores payload_len == 0 for them; ipv6_payload_len() then falls back to skb->len. For such a packet forwarded to a destination mapped to CALIPSO, the code above writes len_delta (or 65536 + len_delta when shrinking) into payload_len, and ipv6_payload_len() no longer falls back to skb->len. nf_tables, conntrack and sch_cake rely on it. The same arithmetic also wraps when a packet grows past IPV6_MAXPLEN, and a BIG TCP packet that shrinks below IPV6_MAXPLEN should get its real length back. Set payload_len from the skb length with ipv6_set_payload_len(), which stores 0 above IPV6_MAXPLEN and the real length otherwise, as ipv6_gro_complete() does. The network header was just reset to skb->data, so skb->len - sizeof(*ip6_hdr) is the payload length. Tested on one kernel (arm64, QEMU) with SELinux permissive, a minimal mdp-generated policy (network_peer_controls=1), "netlabelctl calipso add pass doi:16" and a NetLabel mapping of fd00:2::/64 to CALIPSO DOI 16. calipso_skbuff_setattr() was called through netlbl_skbuff_setattr() from a test-only debugfs hook (not part of this patch) adding a level-only label; payload_len after the call: case before fix after fix real length 1000, unlabeled 1016 1016 1016 70000 GSO, payload_len 0 16 0 70016 65530 GSO, grows past MAXPLEN 10 0 65546 65540 GSO with a 24 byte hop header, shrinks below MAXPLEN 65528 65532 65532 1000 with a 24 byte hop header 992 992 992 (0 means ipv6_payload_len() returns the real length.) On the forward path, with a client injecting unlabeled UDP through a router to a server, the router adds the CALIPSO option and the server delivers all datagrams (Udp6InDatagrams 5, Ip6InTruncatedPkts 0) with this patch. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99182 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: ipc4-topology: Fix shift-out-of-bounds for aggregated ALH capture When ch_count is smaller than blob->alh_cfg.device_count (e.g. a mono capture stream, such as a SmartMic, aggregated across multiple SDW links), step = ch_count / blob->alh_cfg.device_count truncates to 0. The subsequent GENMASK(step - 1, 0) then underflows step - 1 (u32) to UINT_MAX, causing GENMASK()'s internal shift to use an out-of-bounds exponent: UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in sound/soc/sof/ipc4-topology.c:2363:13 shift exponent 18446744069414584384 is too large for 64-bit type 'long unsigned int' Treat ch_count < device_count the same way as the existing "channels equal to output reference channels" case: apply the same ch_mask to every aggregated device instead of trying to split channels that can't be evenly divided. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99159 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Fix the sub-buffer array base in rb_meta_subbuf_idx() On a persistent ring buffer, rb_meta_subbuf_idx() can return an index one sub-buffer too high. rb_setup_ids_meta_page() then fills subbuf_ids[] shifted by one and leaves subbuf_ids[0] NULL, which __rb_map_vma() dereferences when userspace maps trace_pipe_raw. rb_update_meta_reader() writes two such indices into meta->buffers[], which rb_cpu_meta_valid() would reject on the next boot, discarding the previous boot's trace. A CPU's sub-buffer array starts after its meta header and the nr_subbufs integers that follow, aligned up to a sub-buffer. rb_meta_subbuf_idx() inverts that calculation but skips only the integers, not the header, so its base is one sub-buffer low whenever the omitted header size crosses the alignment boundary. Invert the calculation with rb_subbufs_from_meta() rather than repeating it. rb_range_buffer() maps an index back to an address through the same helper, so the two directions can no longer disagree. | ||||
| CVE-2026-99127 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 5.9 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: page_pool: keep frag_offset aligned for odd-sized requests page_pool_alloc_frag_netmem() rounds the requested fragment size with size = ALIGN(size, dma_get_cache_alignment()); dma_get_cache_alignment() returns 1 unless the architecture defines ARCH_DMA_MINALIGN, which DMA-coherent architectures such as x86 do not. There the ALIGN() is a no-op and pool->frag_offset advances by the raw, unrounded size. A single caller asking for an odd size then leaves frag_offset misaligned for every fragment carved out of that page afterwards. The pool is shared, so the damage is not confined to the caller that caused it. The per-cpu system_page_pool used by generic XDP hits this. skb_pp_cow_data() allocates its fragments with the raw packet length: size = min_t(u32, len, PAGE_SIZE); truesize = size; page = page_pool_dev_alloc(pool, &page_off, &truesize); leaving frag_offset odd for whatever is carved out of that page next. Its own head allocation is already aligned -- SKB_HEAD_ALIGN(size) plus the XDP_PACKET_HEADROOM its callers pass -- so it is a later user of the shared pool that pays: page_pool_dev_alloc_va() returns a misaligned buffer, napi_build_skb() installs it as skb->head, and skb_shinfo(skb) == skb->head + skb->end is misaligned with it. skb_shinfo()->dataref is a 4-byte atomic_t at offset 0x20, so the atomic_inc() in __skb_clone() straddles a cache line. On x86 with split lock detection -- fatal for kernel split locks by default -- this panics the machine: Oops: Split lock detected RIP: 0010:skb_clone+0x154/0x1e0 Call Trace: <IRQ> raw_local_deliver+0x1ed/0x2c0 ip_protocol_deliver_rcu+0x54/0x1c0 ip_local_deliver_finish+0x85/0x100 ip_local_deliver+0x67/0x100 __netif_receive_skb_one_core+0x85/0xa0 process_backlog+0x87/0x130 Reproduced by attaching any generic-mode XDP program to loopback and opening a RAW IPPROTO_UDP socket, which makes raw_local_deliver() clone every locally delivered UDP packet; ordinary DNS traffic then triggers it, roughly once per 2500 clones. Observed on 6.12.101 and 7.1.8. Tracing page_pool_alloc_frag_netmem() over one such run shows the amplification -- two odd-sized requests, nine misaligned offsets: requested size & 7: 0: 17035 5: 1 7: 1 frag_offset & 7: 0: 17028 3: 1 4: 1 5: 1 6: 1 7: 5 and skb_pp_cow_data() returning heads that were aligned on entry: head 0xffff8f4c86aeac00 -> 0xffff8f4c53a9a9c4 (&7=4) head 0xffff8f4d6a8a42c0 -> 0xffff8f4c4f7b7a45 (&7=5) Round the fragment size up to at least the alignment struct skb_shared_info requires, so fragments are always suitably aligned for the objects callers build on them. Architectures needing a larger DMA alignment keep it. This also makes the remainder computed in page_pool_alloc_netmem(), *size = max_size - *offset; aligned, since max_size is a power of two -- which fixes the matching misalignment of skb->end. Verified with a controlled A/B under QEMU/KVM: same tree, same config, same compiler, same rootfs and identical traffic, differing only by this patch. A SEC("xdp.frags") XDP_PASS program on lo plus UDP datagrams larger than max_head_size drives skb_pp_cow_data()'s fragment loop, which passes raw packet lengths to the pool. Measured at the return of skb_pp_cow_data(): unpatched patched skb_pp_cow_data calls 40800 40800 misaligned skb->head 1120 0 dataref at line offset >60 80 0 The last row counts the accesses that actually fault: skb_shinfo()->dataref sits at head+end+0x20 and is a 4-byte atomic, so `lock incl` splits a 64-byte cache line only when that address lands at offset 61..63. All 80 occurrences were at offset 61; the panic reported above was at offset 62. Eliminating the misalignment removes every one of them. | CVE-2026-99124 | 1 Linux | 2 Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-10-30 | 5.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: s390/pci: Fix leak of uninitialized kernel data in SCLP report While report_error_write() checks that the provided buffer is at least as large as the header struct, but not that it is large enough to contain the report with the length claimed by report->length. If user-space provides a short buffer, meaning a larger report->length than the actually written payload, up to around 4K of kernel data from past the kmalloc(len + 1) sized buffer allocated in kernfs_fop_write_iter() will leak into the SCLP report. However, as the entity processing the SCLP is privileged and able to access at least the page including the report, this does not leak data that entity could not access but it is still an out of bounds read and a malformed error report that should be rejected. | ||||
