| CVE-2026-98769 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 8.4 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_uac1_legacy: validate bRequest index in generic_{set,get}_cmd generic_set_cmd() and generic_get_cmd() use the low nibble of ctrl->bRequest as an index into con->data[]: u8 cmd = (ctrl->bRequest & 0x0F); /* 0 .. 15 */ ... con->data[cmd] = value; /* OOB when cmd >= 5 */ struct usb_audio_control (include/linux/usb/audio.h) declares data as a 5-element array, so indices 5 through 15 write (or read) up to 44 bytes past the end of the array on the heap. A malicious USB host can craft a class-specific SET_CUR / GET_CUR request with an arbitrary bRequest value, triggering the out-of-bounds access from an IRQ completion handler with no further preconditions. Add an ARRAY_SIZE() guard to both functions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98770 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: midi2: Fix the jack descriptor array sizes The jack in/out descriptor arrays in struct f_midi2_usb_config have the size of MAX_CABLES, which look reasonable -- but it turned out to be incorrect. Namely, the entries for those arrays are added from both inputs and outputs, hence for each loop cycle, it adds two, ended up with as twice as the expected size. This inconsistency may result in potential OOB when a large number of jacks are set up via configfs, although the max number of cables (the loop count) is limited to MAX_CABLES. For addressing it, correct the jack_ins & jack_outs array sizes to twice, MAX_CABLES * 2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85826 | 1 Microsoft | 28 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 25 more | 2026-10-23 | 7 High |
| Out-of-bounds write in Windows Fast FAT Driver allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115723 | 1 Snap7 Project | 1 Snap7 | 2026-10-23 | 7.4 High |
| Snap7 through 1.4.3 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the passive partner that allows a malicious active partner to overflow application buffers by declaring an unvalidated BSend total length. Attackers connecting from the configured peer address can declare up to 65535 bytes and send a short fragment, causing BRecv to memcpy past the buffer and crash or corrupt SCADA, HMI or gateway processes. | ||||
| CVE-2021-48018 | 1 Vyperlang | 1 Vyper | 2026-10-23 | 7.4 High |
| Vyper from 0.2.13 before 0.2.15 allocates storage slots for @nonreentrant reentrancy locks at the same locations as contract storage variables. When a function using @nonreentrant is called, setting the lock overwrites the overlapping storage variable, corrupting contract state and breaking the contract's intended logic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101976 | 1 Juniper Networks | 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an eBGP peer which has not negotiated four-octet-AS capability sending a specifically malformed BGP update to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2025-14181 | 3 Php, Php Group, Redhat | 3 Php, Php, Hummingbird | 2026-10-23 | 6.5 Medium |
| The SOAP HTTP client guards its response buffer growth with a check that relies on signed integer overflow, which is undefined behaviour and is not guaranteed to trigger. When the check is optimised away, a malicious SOAP server can make the client allocate a buffer far smaller than the data it then writes into it, producing a heap buffer overflow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-105958 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in spice-server. Multiple migration data handlers use client-supplied offsets from SPICE_MSGC_MIGRATE_DATA messages without bounds validation, allowing a malicious authenticated SPICE client during VM live migration to read arbitrary heap memory or trigger heap corruption via out-of-bounds read and write operations on the message buffer. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85746 | 1 Mariadb | 2 Mariadb, Server | 2026-10-23 | 9.9 Critical |
| MariaDB server is a community developed fork of MySQL server. From 10.6.1 until 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2, ST_AsText can write beyond an allocated output buffer when converting deeply nested GeometryCollections because recursive WKT serialization does not account for bytes consumed or reserve sufficient space. A low-privileged remote attacker can submit a specially crafted GIS object to corrupt memory and potentially achieve code execution when combined with another vulnerability. This issue is fixed in versions 10.6.28, 10.11.19, 11.4.13, 11.8.9, 12.3.3, and 13.0.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98725 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-auth: fix out-of-bounds write in nvmet_auth_challenge() nvmet_auth_challenge() receives its output buffer as a void pointer. sizeof(*d) therefore evaluates to one with GCC and undercounts the fixed challenge header by 15 bytes. A short AUTH_RECEIVE buffer can pass the check before the challenge is copied past the end of its allocation. Use the typed challenge pointer when calculating the response size. BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in nvmet_execute_auth_receive (drivers/nvme/target/fabrics-cmd-auth.c:442 drivers/nvme/target/fabrics-cmd-auth.c:569) Write of size 32 by task kworker/1:1H/64 Workqueue: nvmet_tcp_wq nvmet_tcp_io_work Call Trace: nvmet_execute_auth_receive (drivers/nvme/target/fabrics-cmd-auth.c:442 drivers/nvme/target/fabrics-cmd-auth.c:569) nvmet_tcp_try_recv_pdu (drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c:1119 drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c:1243) nvmet_tcp_io_work (drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c:1350 drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c:1382 drivers/nvme/target/tcp.c:1445) process_one_work (kernel/workqueue.c:3322) worker_thread (kernel/workqueue.c:3405 kernel/workqueue.c:3486) kthread (kernel/kthread.c:436) ret_from_fork (arch/x86/kernel/process.c:158) ret_from_fork_asm (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:245) The buggy address is located 16 bytes inside of allocated 33-byte region [ffff888000554e80, ffff888000554ea1) Kernel panic - not syncing: KASAN: panic_on_warn set ... | ||||
| CVE-2026-98150 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-23 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix BPF_F_CPU validation for sparse CPU IDs BPF_F_CPU stores the target CPU ID in the upper 32 bits of the map operation flags. bpf_map_check_op_flags() currently compares that ID with num_possible_cpus(), which is the number of possible CPUs rather than a bound on CPU IDs. On an arm64 QEMU guest with a CPU device-tree hole, the possible CPU mask was 0,2-3. A userspace program using raw bpf() syscalls creates a BPF_MAP_TYPE_PERCPU_ARRAY and performs update and lookup operations for each CPU by setting BPF_F_CPU and the CPU ID in the flags. With the old check, CPU 1 is incorrectly accepted while valid CPU 3 is rejected with -ERANGE. The CPU 1 update then reaches the per-CPU map access path and triggers: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address ... pc : __pi_memcpy_generic+0x5c/0x22c lr : bpf_percpu_array_update+0x2dc/0x2e8 Call trace: __pi_memcpy_generic bpf_map_update_value map_update_elem __sys_bpf Check the CPU ID against nr_cpu_ids and cpu_possible() instead. This rejects CPU IDs outside the valid range and CPUs absent from the possible mask, while allowing valid sparse CPU IDs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98493 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.1 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ipconfig: bound DHCP option construction ic_dhcp_init_options() appends the hostname (option 12), vendor-class (option 60) and client-ID (option 61) options into the fixed 312-byte bootp_pkt.exten[] buffer. Only the client-ID branch checked the remaining space; the hostname and vendor-class writes were unbounded. A 64-byte hostname together with the maximum 252-byte dhcpclass= identifier needs 18 + (2 + 64) + (2 + 252) = 338 of the 312 available bytes even before the terminating END marker, so the vendor-class memcpy runs past the end of exten[]. With CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE this is reported as a field-spanning write and, when the kernel is booted with panic_on_warn=1, aborts boot with a panic. Route the optional options through a common helper that makes sure the option, its 2-byte header and the END marker all fit and drops an option that would not. Configurations with short options keep sending exactly the same bytes as before. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98635 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 6.2 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: block: Fix zones_cond out-of-bounds write on zone report blk_revalidate_disk_zones() sizes the zones_cond array from the disk capacity and zone size, but the index used by blk_revalidate_zone_cond() comes from the device-driven report_zones() walk and is never checked against the array size. A device reporting more zones than fit the array makes blk_zone_set_cond() write out of bounds. One way to reach this is a zone count exceeding 32 bits: both blk_revalidate_zone_args.nr_zones and struct zoned_disk_info.nr_zones are unsigned int, so a disk advertising more than UINT_MAX zones (e.g. 2^32 + 1024 zones of one 512-byte logical block) gets its zone count truncated to a small value, undersizing the array while the report walk keeps counting upward. Check the index against the array size before storing the zone condition, and refuse to revalidate when the zone count does not fit 32 bits. | ||||
| CVE-2026-103993 | 1 Juniper Networks | 2 Junos Os, Junos Os Evolved | 2026-10-22 | 6.8 Medium |
| An Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the routing protocol daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows an adjacent attacker which sends a specific set of BGP communities to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS) as rpd crashes when graceful-shutdown sender community is added when attempting to advertise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100236 | 2 Dpdk, Redhat | 4 Dpdk, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-22 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in the DPDK GSO library. When software GSO copies packet headers into a new mbuf, it does not check that the header fits in the source first segment or in the destination buffer, and a header longer than the configured GSO segment size can underflow the payload-size calculation. A remote or guest-supplied packet processed with software GSO can trigger an out-of-bounds read or write. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15176 | 1 F5 | 2 Nginx Open Source, Nginx Plus | 2026-10-22 | 8.1 High |
| A vulnerability exists in NGINX Plus and NGINX Open Source when a location is configured that uses the alias directive together with rewrite and a set or return directive referencing the $request_filename variable. Alternatively, the same result could be achieved when the $request_filename variable is used in an access log format directive. An unauthenticated attacker along with conditions beyond their control can exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted HTTP requests. This may cause a heap buffer overflow in the NGINX worker process leading to a restart. Additionally, attackers can execute code on systems with Address Space Layout Randomization (ASLR) disabled or when the attacker can bypass ASLR. Impact: This vulnerability may allow remote attackers to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX system or to possibly trigger a code execution. There is no control plane exposure; this is a data plane issue only. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84419 | 1 Citrix | 1 Workspace App For Windows | 2026-10-22 | N/A |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability in Citrix Workspace app for Windows. This issue affects Workspace app for Windows: before 2603.20 CR, before LTSR 2607 Hotfix 1, and before LTSR 2507 CU3 Hotfix 1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98703 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 4.4 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: minstrel_ht: validate fixed rate index The fixed_rate_idx debugfs file is a plain u32 attribute, so any value can be written to it. minstrel_ht_update_stats() then copies the value into mi->max_tp_rate[] and mi->max_prob_rate, and minstrel_ht_set_rate() uses MI_RATE_GROUP()/MI_RATE_IDX() to index minstrel_mcs_groups[] (42 entries) and mi->groups[].rates[] (10 entries) with it. Writing e.g. 65535 selects group 4095 and rate index 15, far outside both arrays. The out-of-bounds entries are dereferenced and updated as struct minstrel_rate_stats (retry counts, etc.), so the invalid index corrupts adjacent kernel memory. With CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS the access is reported as an array-index-out-of-bounds in minstrel_ht_set_rate(). Only a valid group/rate pair, or U32_MAX to disable fixed rate processing, can be used safely, so reject any other value when the debugfs file is written. The file is only reachable through a root-only debugfs mount, so this is not a privilege boundary. The out-of-bounds access is still a bug that must not be reachable through a writable debugfs attribute. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98830 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-22 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: wfx: validate MIB read length before copying to caller wfx_hif_read_mib() copies reply->length bytes from the firmware response into the caller-provided buffer without checking that reply->length does not exceed val_len. A firmware response with a length field larger than expected overruns the caller buffer and reads past the end of the reply allocation. Replace the dead -ENOMEM check with an active validation that reply->length fits within val_len before the memcpy. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95637 | 3 Adobe, Apple, Microsoft | 3 Photoshop, Macos, Windows | 2026-10-22 | 7.8 High |
| Photoshop Desktop is affected by an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. | ||||
