| CVE-2026-104029 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-28 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-104030 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104031 | 4 Fedoraproject, Red Hat, Redhat and 1 more | 6 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2026-10-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. In configurations where the autofs responder service is enabled, memory allocated during successful request processing is not released until the client connection terminates. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by maintaining an open connection and repeatedly submitting valid requests, leading to memory exhaustion and a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-104032 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. An unprivileged local user can repeatedly request master automount map updates through the autofs responder due to missing authorization checks. This triggers global cache invalidation and forces repeated lookups to backend directory providers, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) from degraded automount availability and elevated resource consumption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-114406 | 1 Redhat | 13 Advanced Cluster Security, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 10 more | 2026-10-28 | 6.8 Medium |
| The system certificate authority (CA) store in Red Hat products, distributed via ca-certificates RPM packages, included multiple root CA certificates of authorities, which signed intermediate CA certificates with weak private keys issued by the eMudhra certificate authority. A man-in-the-middle attacker could use this flaw to issue certificates for arbitrary host names signed by the weak intermediate CA certificates, which would be considered trusted by a TLS/SSL client using system CA store and cause such clients to connect to malicious sites. Due to inability to only distrust specific intermediate certificates in all clients using the system CA store, root CA certificates of authorities that signed weak intermediate CA certificates are being removed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94640 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-10-28 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in rpcbind. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a large number of unique requests. The rpcbind service records previously unseen RPC (Remote Procedure Call) statistics in unbounded in-memory lists, leading to persistent memory growth and increased CPU usage. This can degrade or exhaust service availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115207 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-10-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92925 | 2 Red Hat, Redhat | 22 Pen Drive Powered By Red Hat Lightspeed, Red Hat Openshift Ai (rhoai), 3scale Api Management Platform and 19 more | 2026-10-28 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in Redis community. The cluster bus packet parser, responsible for handling PING, PONG, and MEET packets, fails to properly validate string-carrying extensions for null-termination. This oversight allows a remote attacker to craft a malicious packet, leading to an out-of-bounds read when the packet's payload is processed. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in the disclosure of sensitive information or a remote denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-16445 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 4 more | 2026-10-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. A remote attacker on the adjacent network can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted DHCP options, such as a malicious root-path, next-server, or bootfile name, to a system using dracut's NetworkManager-based initrd network module. These options are improperly handled and written into a temporary shell script without proper escaping, leading to command injection. This allows the attacker to achieve root code execution within the initramfs during system boot. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15816 | 1 Redhat | 12 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Hardened Images and 9 more | 2026-10-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. The die() error-handling function writes its message into a shell script under the initramfs emergency-hook directory without properly shell-quoting it. When the message contains data derived from the DHCP ROOT_PATH option, an attacker on the adjacent network who controls a rogue DHCP server can inject a command-substitution sequence that executes as root the next time dracut sources its emergency hook scripts during standard boot-failure handling. | ||||
| CVE-2026-6893 | 1 Redhat | 13 Dracut, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 10 more | 2026-10-27 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in dracut. A remote attacker on the adjacent network can exploit this vulnerability by providing specially crafted DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) options, such as a malicious hostname, to a system using dracut's legacy DHCP path. These options are improperly handled and written into temporary shell scripts without proper escaping, leading to command injection. This allows the attacker to achieve root code execution within the initramfs, potentially compromising the system's boot and network behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96442 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Emacs, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-27 | 7.8 High |
| A code execution flaw was found in Emacs, affecting versions prior to 31.2. The Flymake mode using language backends other than Lisp would execute arbitrary code from the edited file while performing syntax checking. Viewing or editing untrusted files using Emacs could lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running Emacs. | ||||
| CVE-2026-83596 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus | 2026-10-27 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in WebKitGTK. Processing malicious web content can cause memory corruption due to improper memory handling. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78376 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus | 2026-10-27 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in WebKitGTK. Processing malicious web content can cause a use-after-free issue due to improper memory handling and result in memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-109619 | 4 Paloaltonetworks, Php, Redhat and 1 more | 14 Pan-os, Panorama M-200, Panorama M-300 and 11 more | 2026-10-27 | 8.1 High |
| PHP has various global state that temporarily points into request memory. In some scenarios, global state may not be correctly reset, or may be repopulated after being reset. The global state may then refer to request memory even after it has been freed. Subsequent requests may read or branch on this stale state before it is fully initialized. Multiple strategies can trigger this condition and produce remote code execution (RCE). | ||||
| CVE-2026-109618 | 4 Paloaltonetworks, Php, Redhat and 1 more | 14 Pan-os, Panorama M-200, Panorama M-300 and 11 more | 2026-10-27 | 9.8 Critical |
| PHP uses longjmp() for out-of-memory (OOM) errors to exit the current context and abort handling of the request. Some contexts may not properly account for this scenario and leave request memory in an uninitialized state before performing an allocation. The subsequent request cleanup procedure may read or branch on this memory. Multiple OOM strategies can consistently trigger this condition and lead to remote code execution (RCE). | ||||
| CVE-2024-9355 | 1 Redhat | 26 Amq Streams, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 23 more | 2026-10-27 | 6.5 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum. It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value. This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11395 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-27 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in Podman. If an attacker can pass a crafted tar archive to the `podman load` command, they can create files on the host machine with the privileges of the user running Podman. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96280 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 4 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2026-10-27 | 7.5 High |
| The OCI delta stream parser read sizes as guint64 but passed them to GLib I/O and allocation functions expecting gsize (32 bits on 32-bit systems), causing undersized allocations while subsequent operations use the original 64-bit size, leading to heap buffer overflows. An attacker controlling an OCI registry can craft a delta stream that triggers this during flatpak install/update, potentially achieving code execution on 32-bit systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96275 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 4 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2026-10-27 | 8.8 High |
| A malicious or compromised Flatpak repository can write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations on the host filesystem via extract_extra_data(). On system installs, the write happens as root. Two issues combine: `files/extra` is resolved via path operations that follow symlinks, and blob names from `xa.extra-data-sources` are not sanitized against `..` traversal. | ||||
